Policies

• Cancellations made 60 days or more in advance will be fully refunded, minus the reservation deposit (25% of the total).
• Cancellations made within 60 days of trip will be charged an additional $250 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of trip are not subject to refund.

Note: You may purchase Trip Insurance through IMG when placing your reservation. This service is provided by a 3rd party company and any questions or concerns should be directed to them. Pricing for this service may vary based on the total price of your rental, and may fluctuate with changes made to your booking. You may contact IMG directly at 1-866-243-7524. 

Primary Insurance Responsibilities:

• The Renter’s personal automobile insurance policy shall serve as the primary insurance coverage for all liability, collision, and comprehensive claims arising from the use of the rented RV.
• Renter must provide proof of valid insurance before the rental period begins in the form of a signed Insurance Binder and a copy of their insurance ID card. Insurance must include coverage for motorhomes, travel trailers, and/or rental vehicles, as required by law. If the renter’s personal insurance cannot provide Liability coverage (or proof of such) extending to the RV/trailer being towed, the renter must purchase Per Day Liability Coverage from Mid Michigan RV Rental LLC’s insurance provider, MBA Insurance, by visiting mbatrailer.com and entering Policy #404134.
• Mid Michigan RV Rental LLC’s insurance policy, if applicable, shall apply on an excess/secondary basis only and will respond only after the Renter’s insurance limits have been exhausted.

Renter’s Responsibilities:

• Renter assumes full financial responsibility for any loss or damage not covered by their own insurance policy.
• If the Renter’s insurance denies coverage, the Renter remains fully liable for all claims, damages, and costs.
• Deductibles, exclusions, and limits of the Renter’s policy are solely the responsibility of the Renter.

Company Coverage (Excess/Secondary Only):

• If applicable, Mid Michigan RV Rental LLC’s commercial insurance may provide secondary coverage, subject to policy limits, but only after the Renter’s insurance has been applied.
• Mid Michigan RV Rental LLC’s coverage is not a substitute for Renter’s required insurance and does not waive the requirement for proof of personal coverage.
  
  

Claims Process:

• In the event of an accident, the Renter must file a claim with their personal insurance provider as the primary carrier.
• The Renter must provide Mid Michigan RV Rental LLC with documentation of the claim and any settlement decisions.
• If damages exceed the Renter’s policy limits, Mid Michigan RV Rental LLC’s insurance may respond as excess coverage.

Optional Insurance Upgrades:

• Renter may elect to purchase additional insurance coverage through Mid Michigan RV Rental LLC’s insurance carrier/third-party provider(s) by visiting mbatrailer.com and entering policy #404134. These additional coverages are subject to the terms of the insurance company providing them and typically include the following options:
  • Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI): Increases liability coverage limits.
  • Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): Provides medical coverage for Renter and passengers in the event of an accident.

Coverage limits are determined by the Company’s policy in effect at the time of rental and may vary by state. A copy of the current Certificate of Insurance is available upon request.

We apologize, but there are no refunds for early returns, inclement weather, or shortened trips. 

We schedule deliveries and pickups on an individual basis, which is subject to change/availability.

• If You Pull/Drive RV Yourself: Please select what time you would like to pick up and drop off the camper for  your chosen trip dates when reserving or booking online. We will have  the camper ready to go before you arrive. If you are going to be late,  please reach out to us at 989-310-3110 as soon as possible. If we do not  hear from you and you arrive late, you are subject to a late fee and/or cancellation. The person who booked the RV must be the person who is  picking up the camper. Please bring a valid driver's license and the  credit/debit card used at booking. Upon picking up the camper, our staff  will help you hitch to the camper, and give you a short orientation on  it's features. The entire check in process takes approximately 1 hour,  please plan accordingly. When dropping off the camper, please arrive at  or before your selected return time. If you are running late, please  call us immediately.

• Deliveries: We usually are available to meet at your selected time, but it is not always guaranteed. We require the person booking the reservation to be on site at the time of delivery with a valid driver's license/state ID and a valid credit/debit card in their name for the security deposit. Upon delivering the camper, our staff will give you a short orientation on the camper and its features. The entire check in process takes about 1 hour, please plan accordingly. We cannot guarantee all deliveries will be available at your selected time-some will be later due to cleaning routines from the last reservation or other pickups and deliveries. We will notify you in advance if your selected time(s) are unavailable. If the named renter is not on-site at the delivery location at the scheduled delivery time, you may be subject to a late fee, cancellation, or you may have to wait until the next available delivery date. No refunds or credits will be provided in these cases. Our late fee is $120/hour charged in 1-minute increments and begins accruing at the time of your scheduled delivery. At our sole discretion, we may allow a 30-minute grace period and the driver may begin setting up the RV during said grace period in lieu of charging a late fee. However, if you do not arrive within the aforementioned 30 minute grace period, you may still be subject to a late fee starting at the time of your scheduled delivery time. 

• Retrievals:  We are usually flexible on retrieval times, but available retrieval times are based on availability and are subject to change. There may be situations where we need to retrieve the camper at an earlier time in order to clean the camper before the next reservation. If this is the case, we will inform you of this in advance. In the event you and/or the RV are not ready for pickup at the scheduled pickup time, you are subject to a late return fee of $120/hour charged in 1-minute increments.
  
  • Please DO NOT leave the camper before we arrive to retrieve it. You are still responsible for any and all damages/thefts that occur until we take possession of the camper, and may be charged an abandonment fee, unless other arrangements are made with us in advance.  Communication is key-we are more than happy to work with you if you  need to make special arrangements!

NO PETS OF ANY KIND are permitted in our campers UNLESS THE CAMPER YOU RENT IS SPECIFICALLY ADVERTISED AS PET FRIENDLY. This is in  order to keep our campers as clean and fresh as possible for all renters. Failure to follow this rule will result in 100% loss of  security deposit PLUS any costs for damages and/or repair/replacement. 

NO SMOKING OF ANY SUBSTANCE is allowed in the camper (including but not  limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, marijuana, E-cigs, vapes, or other  substances). Failure to follow this rule will result in 100% loss of  security deposit PLUS any costs for damages and/or repair/replacement.  

RV must be returned in a REASONABLY clean condition. If the camper is returned in a reasonably clean condition, no cleaning fee will apply. Our definition of ‘reasonably clean’ is as follows: A used, but reasonable and considerate condition that would be expected based on the length of your rental and the location of your trip, and to include:

1. All trash taken out
2. Dishes clean and put away
3. Counters wiped down
4. RV tidy
5. Floors swept
6. Toilet and toilet seat clean
7. Appliances cleaned
8. Used towels placed in shower stall
9. Camper free from obnoxious odors or excessive animal hair

Dirty campers may be charged an additional fee for cleaning.
